Allocations for first round nominations sent to department chairs and program directors.

January 15, 2009
Deadline for departments to inform VPGE they want to arrange submission dates earlier than is scheduled in March. VPGE will explore possibilities with the committee.

February 9, 2009
Review of nomination procedures and SGF offer letters for new or interested student services administrators.

March 3, 2008
Last day for departments and programs to submit first round nominations (except Biosciences).

March 11, 2009
Last day for Biosciences departments and programs to submit first round nominations.

March 12, 2009
First round awards approved by the Graduate Fellowship Faculty Advisory Committee (GFFAC) except Biosciences.

March 16, 2009
First round awards approved by the Graduate Fellowship Faculty Advisory Committee (GFFAC) for Biosciences.

April 17, 2009
Deadline for departments to report SGF acceptances/declines to VPGE, with notation of any additional competitive awards (e.g. NSF) accepted by 2009 SGFs.

April 19, 2009
Allocations for second-round nominations sent to department chairs and program directors.

May 6, 2009
Last day to submit round-two nominations.

May 21, 2009
Graduate Fellowship Faculty Advisory Committee (GFFAC) approves round-two nominations.

June 9, 2009
Deadline for departments to report SGF acceptances/declines to VPGE.
